Taking Care of Your Hand-Painted Leather Handbag
To keep your hand-painted leather handbag looking as fresh as can be, please try to follow these care instructions:
Regular Cleaning: You might want to wipe your bag with a soft, dry cloth every now and then to get rid of dust. It’s not that hard, really, just do it.
Protection from the Elements: Let’s be real—sunshine, rain, and snow aren’t exactly best friends with leather. Try to keep your bag away from them. Just saying.
Avoid Chemicals: For the love of all things stylish, don’t let your bag near lotions, perfumes, makeup, or anything that could mess up that paint.
Storage Tips: If you’re not planning to use it, kindly store it in the dust bag and place it somewhere dry. A lot of damage can occur to the bag when being stored.
Prevent Scratching: Please be careful with rough surfaces. Scratches are a thing, and your bag will probably hate you for it.
Moisture Management: If your bag gets wet (which, again, it shouldn’t), gently blot it with a soft cloth and let it air dry. Don’t rub it—because that would make it worse.
To keep your precious artwork looking nice, it might be a good idea to treat it with some care. Leather care products? Just... don’t. They’ll ruin that beautiful painted finish you clearly spent money on. The leather will change color over time, of course, but that’s just nature doing its thing. Not like you can control it.
Cleaning Your CGRC Products
Since the painted surface is delicate, please avoid using any harsh chemicals. Just gently dab any stains with a damp cloth. Not rub, dab. The bags are already treated with multiple coats of water and stain repellent, so using leather cleaner would only damage the protective layers. But, you know, do whatever you want.
